Ben Pickering

Ben is a Silicon Valley veteran who brings to Strutta ten years of online experience with large Internet companies and rapidly growing start-up enterprises, along with a passion for helping marketers leverage the power of the Internet to connect with consumers.
Before joining Strutta, Ben spent four years with Yahoo! where he held strategic roles in Yahoo!'s audience division, global sales organization, and advertising marketplaces group. Ben played a key role in structuring and negotiating many successful contests and promotions with Fortune 500 brands, including the first large scale UGC-based contests to run on Yahoo! Most recently Ben led strategic initiatives and business operations for Yahoo!'s display advertising marketplace.
Prior to Yahoo! Ben worked in the strategic partnerships group at eBay. He was previously the first person to join the business development team at Spinway, where he helped Spinway become the fastest growing ISP in history through partnerships with major retail brands. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing transaction support to the firm's global high tech client base on their M&A activity. Ben holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and an M.B.A., both from Stanford University.
